Kathryn Havens, M.D.

Dr. Havens completed her M.D. degree at the University of Missouri in Kansas City. Her residency training was completed at the Harvard Cambridge Hospital in Cambridge, Massachusetts; and she completed a Fellowship in Adolescent Medicine at Children's Hospital in Boston.

From August of 2004 through 2008 Kathryn Klein Havens, M.D. was the Administrative Medical Director for the Aurora Women's Pavilion. As Director, she facilitated midlife women’s health programs and medical care. Programs she developed for preventive cardiology, sexual health, and wellness have successfully been implemented into clinical practice. The Heart WATCH program won the Innovation of the year award at Snowmass 2008.

Dr. Havens formed HealthHavens Inc., a consulting and multimedia education firm committed to advocacy for women’s health. She has presented nationally on menopause and facilitates workshops for health educators, nurses, and general audiences. She has created several midlife programs for women using multimedia technology, including menopause, stress, cardiac health prevention, and wellness.
